As the Board enters its 6th year of representing and advocating on industry’s behalf, I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to everyone for their support and encouragement. This year is going to be one of our hardest as we try to prevent councils from implementing a nationwide heath and hygiene bylaw.
While we recognise the need for an authority to mandate health and hygiene standards, local councils are not the institution to do that. Since its conception, we have had some of the worst accidents in our industry’s short history. Clinics are charged increasing fees and not inspected by councils own rules.
